Overview of APVG's
ClearBlue Hybrid Yachts
ClearBlue Hybrid Yachts (CLearBlue) is designing and intends to build a fleet of all electric powered, 72-foot luxury sailing catamarans called the ClearBlue 72. They will be similar in design, but slightly larger than the Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 foot catamaran featured in the above video.
Our sailing catamarans will be 100% electric motor driven, with solar power panels, under hull water jet turbine generating systems, with a small gas powered generator backup.
Our ClearBlue 72 is designed and will be built exclusively for the
Hybrid Sailing Club (HSC), a division of ClearBlue. HSC will offer
its members an exclusive, fully crewed luxury yacht charter sailing
vacation product starting in mid 2023. Each yacht will have four
large guest staterooms with baths, suitable for 4 couples or up to
eight single adults. They will also feature a Captain's stateroom,
and two crew bunk rooms, each with their own private bath room.
Yachts will feature teak decks, 12 passenger tenders, water toys,
air conditioning, washer and dryer, kitchen with stove, freezers,
refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and all the related items
found on a mega-yacht.
Guest staterooms will feature large windows with two offering direct access to the stern deck area, flat screen televisions, wifi access and a deck-top hot tub on the bow. We hope to have our first ClearBlue 72 sailing Cat serve the coast of Santa Barbara and Channel Islands, California by early 2023.
We are looking to revive the ship build industry in the USA, and will seek to build our yachts in California, provided the States extensive regulations prevent us from doing so. Our goal is to produce one new Cat each month, up to a fleet of 60 ClearBlue 72 HSC yachts sailing the Caribbean, South Pacific and Mediterranean Sea by late 2027.
All crewed sailing vacations will be made available first to our Founders Club members, then employees and others. We will start replacing each yacht built in an ongoing cycle every 72 months (6 Years). Yachts coming out of the charter program will be refurbished and offered first to our Founders Club members and then the public, on a first reserved, and paid basis.
