Overview of APVG's
ClearBlue Hybrid Yachts
ClearBlue Hybrid Yachts (CBHY) is designing and intends to build a fleet of all electric powered, 72-foot luxury sailing catamarans called the ClearBlue 72. It will be similar, but slightly larger than the Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 foot catamaran featured in the above video.
We are building our 72 foot sailing catamaran yachts to be 100% electric motor driven, with solar power panels, under hull water jet turbines and mast wind power generating systems, with a small generator backup.
Our ClearBlue 72 is designed and will be built exclusively for the Hybrid Sailing Club (HSC), a division of the Tropical Reef Cruise Club (TRCC). HSC will offer its members an exclusive, fully crewed luxury yacht charter sailing vacation product starting in mid 2022. Each yacht will have four large guest staterooms with baths, suitable for 4 couples or up to eight single adults. They will also feature a Captain's stateroom, and two crew bunk rooms, each with their own private bath room.
Yachts will feature teak decks, 12 passenger tender, various water toys, air conditioning, washer and dryer, full kitchens with stove, freezers, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and all the related items found on a mega-yacht. Each guest stateroom will have large windows, with two offering direct access to the stern deck area, flat screen televisions, wifi access and a deck-top hot tub on the bow.
We are looking to build these yachts in an APVG proposed shipyard on the island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. Our goal is to produce one new Cat each month, up to a fleet of 60 HSC yachts sailing the Caribbean, South Pacific and Med by late 2026. Then start replacing the first yacht built in an ongoing cycle. Yachts coming out of the charter program will be refurbished and offered first to our Founders Club members and then the public, on a first reserved, and paid basis.
