An Overview of Our Proposed
AngelPreneur Web Series
The AngelPreneur: Building the Dream in Real Time (the “Series”), is a proposed multi-year online reality web series scheduled to launch in the early 2020. It was created by our Founder, who will co-produce it through his ReefShark Multi-Media Productions (RMMP), an APVG company, and an established production company in that entertainment space.
The Series will incorporate similar elements of the popular television broadcast series The Apprentice, Shark Tank and Office, blending similar elements into an original, educational and entertaining reality-based business-building format. It will be set within Las Vegas, Nevada, Southern California and Puerto Rico, over the course of its planned five (5) year run (60 webisodes total).
The Series will showcase the ongoing business development struggles and challenges (Past and present) of its lead character, Peter “The AngelPreneur” Ortmann, known as: The Shark (logo) or Petey, as he builds out his AngelPreneur Venture Group (APVG) businesses, and its Clear Blue Oceans Foundation (CBO Foundation) programs and initiatives.
The Series follows the development, launch and ongoing operations with a collective goal and objective of addressing the global single-use plastic packaging waste and marine debris crisis, by engaging the viewing public in a simple long-term waste management solution it will promote and they help build.
Crazy and Absurd? Maybe, but that is what makes this Series exciting. The Shark is a passionate and determined out-of-the-box socially-focused, impact-driven entrepreneur. A creative big thinker known as the AngelPreneur. A nick name he earned for being an active Angel Investor who develops and invests mainly in his own EntrePreneurial ventures over the past 40 years. Some of these projects have been refined and are now part of the combined APVG/CBO business strategy showcased in the Series.
The Series features The Shark serving as the "Conductor" of a well-orchestrated group of start-up businesses, each serving as an important instrument of his consolidated business musical production he calls “The Mother-of-all-start-ups.” Make no mistake, his development strategy, although disruptive by design, sets out to reverse engineer the build-out of his clear vision of APVG/CBO by 2025, over a five (5) year period.
The underlying “Building The Dream” Series storyline starts as he sets out to build his Legacy project: Marissa’s Reef For Heavenly Helpers (Marissa’s Reef), a 100 foot round by 80 foot tall salt water aquarium memorial exhibit to honor his lost granddaughter, and children lost worldwide by natural causes. His APVG/CBO model was designed merely to help generate the capital needed to build his proposed, Aquarium Plaza Resort & Conference Center.
The Shark's signature Aquarium Plaza Resort, a fully self-sustained project, was originally designed as a golf resort within a West Maui coffee plantation, near the Kapalua resort. He is also considering a Santa Barbara County large scale vineyard property for the project, and a cruise ship terminal location within Puerto Rico. The Series will highlight all three as a backdrop, from design, approvals and through construction.
The Series will share the details and events, the years of development and planning it has taken him to get here, and what it will take to turn into reality. During those developments, The Shark will be busy leading his management teams forward to address the ocean and plastic waste issues, that is by definition, an innovative combined marketing and awareness plan.
The Series will share a powerful storyline that viewers can engage in and benefit from long-term, even after the Series ends. Viewers can watch this new ocean-focused eco-brand unfold in real time and then visit it, as they become a character within the very storyline themselves, redefines the term virtual reality.
Even if some of the companies or initiatives fail, the Series will offer a powerful new voice for the oceans and global single-use plastic packaging waste crisis. A powerful opportunity for any brand or person who dares to care about the oceans and wants to participate in solving one of the world’s greatest waste challenges .
APVG has established an initial Series
pilot production budget of USD $750,000.
Including its initial set construction to be
used for Series updates, ongoing ocean-
focused content and news features.
Although the Series pilot is in pre-production,
scheduled for release in mid 2020, to secure
its follow-up webisode viewer base, we will
also produce the APVG Show, a weekly news-
like program co-hosted by a male and female
The Studio-based APVG Show anchors will provide viewers a behind-the-scenes perspective of the Series, update them on ocean waste issues, APVG development progress, review new reusable products, our logo-branded items and upcoming special programming features. It will also offer interviews with Series Cast members (real CEO's and staff members), ocean and marine experts, and other special celebrity guests.
The Shark is currently looking for an experienced production company to co-produce the Series and APVG Show, and is seeking distribution networks: such as; NetFlix, YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, and Showtime, plus new streaming services from Apple and Disney. It will also stream webisodes on its MySandDollars.com travel rewards program website for paying members. APVG’s Series offer a very unique reality premise and a rich long-term content opportunity.
